In the past, Emmet and Ingo lived in Orre. They left with their parents after the first Shadow Pokemon incident. However, when they were on a train to Johto from Kanto [before the Magnet Train, they had another train system, it was just slower], they were attacked by a Team Rocket grunt. Ingo had a Cubone, and it died in said attack. Their mother did protect them the best she could with her Pokemon, but it scared both of the brothers away from becoming trainers until they were 14. That's why they're older then the norm. [Their dad is a train conductor.]
In Johto, that's also when they met Elesa - she visits every summer, to go to her dads friend - Professor Elm. She's been doing this for three years, and that's why she's a friend of Emmet and Ingo.
Their real story did start, when Emmet chose his starter and went out to collect an egg. The world seemed wonderful to him - he retrieved the egg, and his brother got his starter as well. When he was starting off on the badge challenge, though, his childhood friend (Elesa) decided to travel with him. At that time, Emmet decided he'd try not to kill any other Pokemon.
And so their quest started. However, this wasn't a normal Nuzlocke world - Arceus was testing Johto, and so the encounters were randomized - Emmet's first was a Venusaur called Bulby, for example. He started his journey, catching everything he could, and going after the gyms. He couldn't let himself frown, even when he lost Minirona - his first loss.
Soon, though, he heard of Team Rocket cutting off Slowpoketails. He knew he couldn't stand by - Team Rocket were bad. They hurt both Ingo and Emmet, after all. He couldn't even stop himself from breaking his own vow not to really kill any Pokemon. He was all alone then, except for Jolt the Pikachu and his starter, Fira the Quilava.
After that, he continued on. He battled in Goldenrod, and won another badge alongside his brother. At that point, he decided to ask Ingo to travel with him, but Ingo said no. Why? Ingo doesn't like travelling with people, when he's lost more then Emmet.
And so, Emmet went up with Elesa, and awoke the three Legendary Beasts - Suicune, Entei, and Raikou. Entei had her eye on Emmet, though - they were destined to meet again.
After that, Emmet went over towards Mahogany, and finally told Elesa his past. This past-telling was overheard though - first by C the Charmeleon, and then by... well, Kudari the Mewtwo. Emmet and Kudari decided to become friends over their mutual hate of Team Rocket, and they went to stop the Red Gyarados. However, said Gyarados killed two of his Pokemon (Nummi the Snorlax and Denny the Rampardos.) And, so, he knocked it out - the first time he stopped himself from catching something. In the Team Rocket building, Kudari also went nuts and nearly destroyed it. Perfect partners.
The next gym, though, was also rather shattering. His Pikachu died, alongside with a mad Primeape. Depressed, Emmet went towards Olivine, to try and cheer himself up. Elesa was also rather worried, mind you. In that city, they met with Ingo, who'd just finished with the gyms. Apparently, there was also a sick Pokemon - he mentioned it, before flying off on his Zapdos. After resting for a few days, Emmet decided he should help that Gym Leader. So, he climbed up the tower.
However, on the way, his starter died. Sure, he finished climbing, but he was super depressed afterwards. He left Elesa and Kudari (!!) alone in the Pokemon Center, and went to the beach. There, he met with Entei once more, and discussed stuff. Apparently, there used to be a Battle Frontier, until some kid in Sinnoh screwed up the region, and almost everybody there is stuck in time. She also tells him that it'll be better - he'll get to see the world, and he'll be important to the fate of the universe.
And, also, the next day - Ingo comes to check on his little brother. They both go south to Cianwood together, and Ingo captures Arceus at that point.
The gyms go rather good after this, as does the defeat of Team Rocket at the Radio Tower. Ingo ends up erasing them from reality, after they threaten Emmet with a gun. Emmet also loses his first capture, Bulby, to the final gym.
However, before they can go to the Elite Four, Elesa has to go home. Emmet gifts her Raikou, who he caught just before Clair, and Ingo gives over Jirachi, who he captured before Chuck.
And then, off to Kanto. They defeat the league, but not without captures. And then, for a year, they go on the S.S. Anne, to try and relax after becoming Champions.
During that time, they decide to take on the Kanto League - only using captures from that region. A fun little game, so they don't try and use their overpowered friends.
And so, that happened. Emmet only had one loss during that time, and made a few powerful friends. Like Giratina. Yeah. And then, the two went up Mt. Silver... and met with the former champ, Lia. A girl who defeated the league, one of the first Nuzlockers to win. The three battled, with Emmet only losing his Dragonite, Lyra.
But, Emmet had doubt put into his heart by Lia and her words. What should a Nuzlocker do after winning? Is it fine to win? What about those who died?
Ingo's pretty worried, so he asks their Dialga for help. Dudek takes them to the future, and shows them their fate. Being Subway Bosses. That cheers Emmet up, of course. The brothers decide that they'll train - but release most of their Pokemon. They deserve freedom, and they can protect more Pokemon in the wild from bad guys like if Team Rocket return. They only kept a few - and decided to go to Hoenn, to train at the only remaining Battle Frontier. It's here they meet Emerald - a Torchic who took a human shape, and wanted to be a Frontier Brain. Together, the three became close friends.
However, this isn't the end. The three, though never becoming Frontier Brains, were invited to the re-opening of the Global Battle Frontier, saved from being frozen in time. The three went there, and Emmet met Entei again - who turned out to be one of the Frontier Brains sort-of - Caitlin, the princess of the Battle Castle. Apparently, she escaped in this new form, and thought Emmet would be strong enough - I mean, he does know a lot of legendaries. The two go off, and Emmet decides he'll show off by beating all the faculties within a year - Emerald decides to try and fight him. Soon, though, he discovers what Ingo's up to - Ingo's stuck with a very broken, very scared Grimsley. You see, Grimsley has the Dimentional Scream, but he can't control his visions of the future. And, in the future, the world is meant to be destroyed by Ghetsis. So yeah. Emmet is taken from the same day that Ingo decides to use the power of his friend Uxie to erase his memories, to try and help him.
Yeah, it's an odd, but also oddly worrying and scary world.
Note, also, that the multiverse is starting to collapse in his world. Just something you should know. By this point, Emmet has two Pokemon who know of the multiverse - R and C, who are semi-aware that they shouldn't be here. That Emmet isn't their OT. But while in Ink City, they won't remember the truth. [That truth is that they used to belong to Raz from Psychonauts, who also got caught up in this collapsing multiverse.]

Gear Station
Feb. 11th, 2012 04:35 pmCharacter Location: Emmet will bring the abandoned Gear Station - because, before him and Ingo got to it in the future, it had been abandoned for other forms of transport.
OUTSIDE

(Sorry for how small this is! :o)
[inside, main area]

[platform]

Except it looks more broken, not as lit, and doesn't have those people around. However, it does have items.
Note that it's been expanded in my headcanon, so here's some text, and also crappy doodles!
The entry to the Subway takes you straight to the underground, where the seven lines are. However, unlike canon, there's a purpose to that thing in the middle. Though a staff-only door (which, luckily for Emmet, is open right now and doesn't need a key), there's living quarters and the admin room used in the anime (which I'll get pics of later). Because of the run-down state, it's pretty much abandoned and broken, but it's a good place to live for now. And there's still electricity/Joltik food! :) I mean, when Fancy isn't good enough to eat on.
In the future, Emmet and Ingo revamp it so it's easier for their Pokemon to stay there outside of their Pokeballs, because they have some huge ones. But that's not for now.
Here's those doodles!
B1F - the entrance.
The top brown one represents the stairs. The others? Train lines.

1F:

Yeah, there's unused rooms right now. But not in the future! :D
2F:

Who's in those bedrooms right now?
1: Emmet, Tik, Fancy and Bachuu.
2: Dot, C and Sub.
3:

6:
And that's pretty much it! :D

Other Characters: None right now - remember me? :)
Name: Emmet
From: Pokemon (Up and Down Nuzlocke universe)
Appearance: Emmet's the person here - he's with some of his team.
Age: 20, at this point in time.
Gender: Male
Personality: Emmet is a strange boy. Having gone though time and met himself, knowing many gods from a pretty young age... he's a strange one, to say the very least! The first thing you'll see is his grin, shark-teeth and all. He's not one to show his sadness or fear to the outside world - as he'd put it, "One of us needs to smile, and Brother Ingo won't! That leaves me! Yup!" It takes him a bit to notice the odd, and most of the time, he'll try and shrug it off. So, you've got a man who doesn't seem to fall into depressions, and who doesn't seem to mind if something really odd happens. I mean, he's friends with dimentional gods, and doesn't think that's odd.
But he can get depressed. He's not like my other Emmet, who can't show emotion and also ate an alternate of himself that one time. He's actually a pretty upset man, behind his smile. He's lost a lot of his close Pokemon (including his starter and first capture), and he's scared he'll lose more. Secretly, he hates the Nuzlocke rules, and would do anything to get rid of them. But this is seen as weak in both Johto and Orre, and so he's learned to hide it! Except to those he's close to, like Elesa and Ingo and his Pokemon.
Speaking of, he's able to adapt to the worst of situations, being from Orre. He knows how to survive, even on his own - the desert is harsh, and the whole Shadow Pokemon thing was harsher.
One of the most important things to him, however, won't be here. His twin brother, Ingo. They've always been together, and they should always be together. Without his big brother, Emmet will need to adjust a lot - and he will feel lonely. Ingo is really the trigger for him really wanting to get home. If he finds even a glimmer of a chance to get home, if Ingo (from any universe) isn't with him - he'll take it. No matter what it'll do to him, as long as he can be with his big brother, he'll do it. After all, he knows his fate is the Battle Subway.
Also note he is semi-aware other worlds exist, from the heated conversations he's had with Ben the Giratina, who himself is sort of the cause of some of the multiversal collapse in his world. However, he doesn't know the dirty details, and hasn't seen any.
Backstory: There was once two twins, from a faraway region...
Moral Standing: Chaotic Good. Emmet really is a good guy - though he does like to play around, because of the influence of Giratina on his growing up, and the whole knowing he'll get his dream subway in the future - why not have some fun now?
Dreams: Well. He already knows about the Battle Subway, so that's one dream down. Right now, though, he wants to actually get together with Elesa and start a family. He also wants to figure out why the world seems to be dying - so he can save it, for everybody he cares about.
He also hopes that Ingo stops being so sad, though that'll never happen.
Fears: Emmet is still terrified of losing one of his friends - both human and Pokemon alike. He's also a bit frightened of being alone, without his big brother or human friends or Pokemon. Also, because the world is ending, he's terrified of that. Though Ingo doesn't believe it, Emmet's terrified and willing to do anything to save it.
He's also a bit scared of heights. That's where he nearly got knocked off of by Lia, after all - during the final battle in Kanto, he was nearly knocked off of Mt. Silver. That's why come the Subway is perfect for him.
Extra: He'll be bringing his Pokemon Team along with him. They are:
Ariados [Bachuu]
Charizard [C]
Feraligatr [Dot]
Rhyperior [Sub]
Luxray [Fancy]
Tik [Joltik, gotten from the Mystery Egg.]
More info on them here.
He'll also have his Pokedex and Pokegear, as well as the Music Box. What's the Music Box? Well, he uses it to summon up his other legendaries, the ones he released. He won't be able to do that here though, because they're not in the world to hear the music. He'll also have the Rainbow Wing and Clear Bell.
So yeah.
Character Location: The Gear Station - more information here.
Samples: Here's some of his comic, over on Livejournal. Also, the Smackjeeves mirror of the whole series - Up and Down, Burgh's Nuzlocke, and this guy's Nuzlocke.
Writing Sample:
Well!
Here we are, Kudari!
[Emmet said, with a grin. They were standing in front of the Battle Arcade - a chance-based Battle Faculty. Well, Emmet was standing - Kudari was hovering, like he normally does.]
This is where Ingo said he found that man.
That weird man, Grimsley. Yup.
Maybe the Arcade Star knows about him.
I have heard she is really nice!
[...]
...But, Kudari. It is part of regulations - I will need to use other Pokemon.
What do you think of using Telma, Bachuu and C?
[Kudari silently nodded, and gave... well, the closest thing he could to a thumbs-up, as his tail wagged the smallest bit.]
Yup, it is good?
Good!
We will meet the Arcade Star, and then we will find out more about that man! Let us go, Kudari!
You can cheer me on!
[And off Emmet ran. To adventure and gambling!]

Back at home, he could call on some Pokemon for help, but he didn't keep them in Pokeballs anymore. Here they are.
Ben - Giratina.
Kaine - Shiny Ho-Oh.
Dollie - Latias.
Dudek - Dialga.
Nobori - Mew.
Bleep - Regice.
'Princess' - Entei.
Beast - Lugia.
Lillie - Mapahpy.
He normally doesn't call on them, though, unless it's a desperate situation. The same goes for Ingo, and his legendaries.
